FYI, I was in TAF club! LOL!! The one beside me is Salman and beside him is Rashid... Think I saw them both in TP before... but I dun think they still remember me... Cos I look super different now... But they look very much the same... especially Rashid...
We were playing battleship... Haha... Wonder who were we playing against?? Maybe Ashraf and Naz... but Jufri said it should be Mirza and Iskandar... I also dunno.. can't remember... Hmm... Those were the days... Kinda missed my pri sch days...

Work was great last nite! Met Syed at the Raffles MRT, he said he saw me boarding the train at Simei... I neva noticed him... haha... He told me it was kinda funny when he called me (Saed) cos it's as if he's calling himself... haha... We chatted and walked to TCC... He asked me for my age, and I told him i'm 18... he said I don't look like 18... I look like 20.... And he's not the only one who said that... Ida, Naz and Li Choo also said that to me... I'm accepting the fact that I really look OLD... No wonder neva get green packets... shitty... Yesterday I worked with Syed on the first floor... he's doing bar and i'm doing service... kinda funny... I called him Syed and he called me Saed... Of cos you can see the difference here... with the spelling la... duh...
Yesterday nite there's a whole lot of hot babes came... they were having a bachelorette party... I helped them to take pics... haha... when i served them ice water... one pretty girl actually said "You're an angel! Thank you!" hahahaha... Syed was totally distracted by those girls.. made the wrong drinks... didnt wash the ice water glass... haha... Naz who was supposed to work on the 2nd floor came dwn to see the girls.. haha.. It was really fun... Love my work place... and the people! Naz is very irritating.. he'll go to one corner.. and shout "Saed/Syed" and both Syed and I will turn... then he said "haha... both turn"... Yesterday already kana by Bear.. he shouted "Abdillah" and both Abdillah and I turned... this is gettin really irritating.. haha... and ya.. yesterday Abdillah showed me how to serve the Cafe Brulot... luckily the customer didnt see our nametags.. if not they'll see the same name "Abdillah".. haha...
Timetable is out! Heez... but I think it's not confirmed.. cos heard someone hacked the system to check the timetable.. my fren gave me the link to the timetable.. hehe... I'm in the same class as shiya and adimah... yeah!! But.. sigh... Julya's not in my class... fark... but we both got French.. and not in the same class oso!! wtf!! I can attend her class but dunno y they didnt put me in her class... idiots... goin to work later.. 7-2am again! =p

I love my work! The people are really so nice... Nisa treated me to Mc Donalds, Bear always joke with me... he said I have the makings of a Manager... Not because I'm good but I'm always supervising others.. as in I JUST look at them doing work... Haha... and there was once I put my arm on the cake display and Bear told Naz "Eh OM.. tu OM..." Haha... Me? Operation Manager?? Muahahaha... Yesterday was my first Night Shift... worked all the way till 12 am! It was so fun... For the closing I was asked to clean the store room... I actually swept and mopped the floor and arranged the stationery and mags... When Ida(Jr. Captain) came in... she was so shocked... She said nobody has ever cleaned the store room as clean as i did! I actually re-arranged all the things cos Ida told me that just make sure everything is clean... Didnt know that I dun need to really clean the place.. hahaha... Bear came up and looked at the store room and then he came up to me and said "Dah lama buat kerja gini?" hahaha... Naz and Ida actually let me do bar yesterday nite... I'm not supposed to touch the espresso machine actually.. cos i'm still new.. but they r just nice people... Malays arent that bad after all huh... Oh ya... I met the other Abdillah for the first time last nite.. it's weird to see someone wearing a nametag with my name on it... There was once Bear called out "Abdillah" and both of us turned around... I actually forgot that I'm not "Abdillah" in TCC.. i'm "junior"... but I just cant program my brain such that i wont respond to the name "saed" or "abdillah"... it's just not easy... Ok that's all for now... I'm working later from7 all the way to 2 am!! Gonna miss Singapore Idol again! Hope Syl will be kicked out!!!
The results tonight was rather predictable... I knew it had to be either Daphne or Syl... Cos both of them are the weakest... True enuff... Daphne made the exit... It's Sylvester's turn next week... He doesn't fit the English Market... Really hope he won't win... haha... not trying to be mean... but I wouldn't want someone having problems with his diction to represent Singapore in World Idol... Simon Cowell might wonder "is this guy singing English?" Now that would be very embarassing... =p Oli and Taufik are gonna make it to the Final 2!! Yeah!! Btw, I voted for Taufik at the very last minute... around 8.30! haha... I wouldn't want a talent like him to go to a waste! I've voted twice for him in the entire competition... Aaahh.. my $1!! Oh man.. I sound like a miser... =p

Firstly... Happy Birthday Julya!! Hehe...
Correction... my work place is not at clarke quay... it's at circular road (boat quay)... =p 2-3 minutes walk from Raffles MRT... The place is really nice... Liked the 2nd storey! But was told by the asst. manager that I should work on the first storey for the time being... =( In that store there's 1 guy whose name is Syed and also 1 more guy whose name is Abdillah... and now comes me Saed Abdillah... 2 in 1.. hahaha... They dunno wat to call me... asst. manager suggested that I should be called S.A. but my female colleagues call me Abdillah Junior.. hahaha... Anything la... All of them are nice people... Roy, Naz, Suhaimi, Nisa, Ida, and my Junior Captain.. forgot her name.. she's so sweet... asked me whether I'm working tmr anot... haha.. I get to meet the people from both the morning and night shift... cos i worked from 12-5pm... night shift people came at 4... Roy and Naz are very helpful... guided me well... that Suhaimi is K.A.N.A.S.A.I! Asked me to work at night so can see pretty girls.. wat the heck.. but he's really funny...

The people there are crazy... haha... my asst. manager is scary... he looks strict... and the others also told me that he's strict and I should beware of him... He was always testing me on the menu... sometimes I know the answer but sometimes I dunno... hehe... He tested me on wines... "what wines do we have?" I really dunno.. but thank god i'm from hospitality... I just anyhow blurt out "Carbenet Sauvignon, Shiraz, erm... can't remember" and he just smiled.. Guess I really hafta learn the menu by heart... A really tiring day! Met interesting/different customers from different woks of life.. tts why I chose to be in the hospitality industry... =)
Class wasnt as boring as yesterday's... Today we had our role-play, got into grps of 3, one has to be the server and the other two, customers. And as fast as lightning... Lucy said "I CUSTOMER" the other guy wanted to "scissors, paper, and stone" with me but I told him no need... I'll be the server... save the hassle... Erm... overall I think I did ok la.. but didnt really know the menu well, so when tt #%!^@#!^@ Lucy wanted a change of dressing for the Caesar Salad, I didnt know what to recommend as a substitute! Wah lau! Told her already... dun lor sor.. just pick one maincourse and shut up... uff! And the other guy wanted the sauce to be separated from the maincourse.. wah lau eh... purposely lor.. wanna make things difficult for me... I've already told them earlier.. dun be lor sor.. just choose wat they want and shut up... Agrh... But I did extremely well for the cash register! So easy to use! Haha... Learnt how to make coffee/cappuccino/latte/etc using the espresso machine and syphon(this method is cool man! vacuum method) Last part of the training was handling take-away orders and customer complaints...
The part where all of us have been waiting for... has finally come... which outlet are we posted to... Lucy: Millenia Walk, Chionh: Cineleisure and Me: Clarke Quay! (wat the....) Of all places.. Clarke Quay! Y cant they gimme parco... I want parco!! Sigh... Julya said that Clarke Quay is one of the nicest store... It's 2 storey and has alfresco dining... but that's not the point! The point is... it's very inconvenient for me to go there!! Just hope it's really a nice place to work in... Haven call my store manager yet... gotta arrange the schedule with him... =p
Reached City Hall at 10... Was on the same train as Lucy... lol! Walked to beach centre and went up to the office... There were so many people in the room, they were giving out the uniforms and stuff... Had to wait outside the room for our turn... Collected my uniforms, aprons, nametag, badge... And i got the new uniform!!! The lady asked.. who wants to take the recycled one? And you know me la.. I wudnt want a recycled one rite? So i pretend to look somewhere else... buat de' je la.. haha.. She gave it to a chinese guy nearest to her... haha.. and so I received 2 new uniforms! *Evil Laugh* Went to get changed at the toilet... As y'all know.. I was from NPCC.. so I was the first to get changed BUT had to wait for Lucy!! Argh.. girls are slow!! Cos of that, both of us were late for the class! The class is on the first floor... When we came in.. wow... everybody was already seated! So paise... Was separated from Lucy... cos no space to sit... Lucy sat beside Jeremy(Julya's Colleague) and I sat beside a chinese guy who looked damn serious! As usual... we did self intro... and before I went for this training I already told Lucy to call me Abdillah instead of Saed... Cos i dun wish to be known as saed in TCC... and my nametag is Abdillah too!! Wow.. TCC can read my mind... lol... So today, for a very long time.. I introduced myself as Abdillah.. and that Steve pronounced as Adila... wadeva la...
Class was super boring! The same ol' shit! I thought I was in Saffron, the only difference was, this time there were more guys than girls.. haha.. There were 16 of us... Most of them looked quiet and the shy shy type... The only people that I talked to were Jeremy, Wati and Chionh(pronounced as sumtin like shaun la.. I oso dunno.. think "she" "on" yea..) Chionh started the conversation first... so I kept talking to him during the break and this left Lucy wondering... "Is Chionh Saed's old fren? Haha... he is from TJC... so we actually talked abt JC stuff la... The rest of the lesson was super boring...
After the lesson I went to Lucy's house to fix her damn fuked up computer... And y'all know wat... I didnt change the uniform... cos my own shirt is crumpled cos I just stuffed it in my bag... (No wonder i was the first to get changed to my uniform) Hehe...
